Long time no blog and a very crafty weekend

ok so it has been a long time since I have blogged, but I have been busy with other things and have had no inspiration for crafting. This all changed this weekend when I stayed at my sister sammi's house. We had a weekend of crafting and I made an atc , four cards, ten double sided journal pages and a journal box. The journal pages and box are for my travel diary and a work in progress as you can see below.

Paris! Paris! Paris!

Ok so I mentioned a few posts down my obsession with Paris and how it has always been my dream to go and live for a year and paint. Well I've been saving most of the year and in the way that these happen I suddenly decided not to wait any longer there is no work around and so I've booked my flight and I'm off at the end of October I have to wait till then because I have an art exhibition on the Ninteenth and I have to get that out of the way then I'm off. As a result of this exciting news I've been doing up my website here and now have an updated Paris Page with my news. Also as a result from all this excitement I haven't done anything crafty. Oh well I'll bid you adieu and will return soon with more craft projects.

Journals and Etsy

Hey so have been busy this weeend making handmade journals which I'm selling on Etsy It's really been quite fun and gave me a new project for a while that and my painting that I've been neglecting somewhat lately although I did do quite a few hours yesterday. So here are my pics of the journals.

My First Magnolia Stamps!

Yay my Magnolia stamps that my sister bought me for my Birthday came in the post yesterday so last night I stamped and stamped and stamped. My first project with them was to make a cover to keep them in. I copied my sister and used an old Cd case and made a cover using the stamps. i don't think I've mentioned here yet my obsession with Paris ( even though I've never been there). So these stamps were perfect for me as i'm currently saving up enough to move to Paris for a year and paint. Anyway enough of that here are the pics.

Birthdays, Blogging and Etsy

So it's been a few days since I have blogged last and the main reason for this is that I have recently discovered Etsy. I opened a shop to sell some of my jewellery and left over scrapbooking stuff and luckily have already had a sale so that is really cool. I now havea link to my shop on my blog and am looking forward to making more creations to sell. In other news it is my brother in laws birthday and below are two cards I made one for him from me and the other for him from my parents. I'm pleased with the way the Worfie one turned out but not with the lego one.

Birthday

It's my birthday today and look at the wonderful card my sister sammi made for me I love it. She also Ordered some Magnolia Stamps for me am so excited can't wait till they get here and I can play with them.
